Cats

Approval of your application will not necessarily result in the adoption of the animal of your choice. We try to match each animal with its new owner based on a series of criteria (behavior, activity level, temperament, etc.). Refuge Madawaska Shelter Inc. reserves the right to refuse any adoption application if we feel it is not in the cat’s best interest.

Any false declaration will result in immediate refusal of the application. Your application will be processed within 24 to 48 hours of receipt.

All adopted animals must be transported safely to their new home. All cats must be transported in an appropriate carrier. Please respect this rule when picking up your new pet.

Be aware that the concerns mentioned above must be discussed before adopting an animal. The animal’s character and health are things that we have no control over. Plan an amount of money for the care of your new companion. Also, make sure that the adoption of your cat comes at the right time in your life? Do you have the time? Are there any changes coming? It is important to give your new family member time to settle in and for the other animals already living at home to get used to the new companion. More than 3 months can benécessaires pour que tous se sentent à l’aise.
