We try to match each animal with it new owners based on a number of criteria (behavior, activity level, temperament, etc.) The Refuge Madawaska Shelter Inc. reserves the right to refuse any application if it feels it is not in the cat’s best interest.

All animals being adopted must be transported home in a safe manner. All dogs must have a proper fitting collar and be on a leash. All cats/rabbits must be transported in a carrier.
