$9,000 raised during Charles Collin and his dog Junior’s 500 km expedition

Emotions were high August 23 when Charles Collin and his dog Junior ended their 500 km journey, which started August 4 in Tracadie-Sheila. This great adventure filled with nice encounters, anecdotes, and generosity was a memorable experience for Charles Collin. The amount raised during the journey was kept secret from Charles by the organizing committee until the very end. People who attended Charles’ arrival were happily surprised to see that $8,000 were raised by selling paws and collecting money donations. Charles Collin and his dog Junior: At the start line of their 500km journey

On this morning of August 4th, Charles Collin and his dog Junior are taking their first steps en route to Edmundston, from their starting point in Tracadie-Sheila. The start date of this 500km walk was initially planned for August 7th, but in order to make it in time, Mr. Collin & Junior will hit the road a few days earlier. The two companions will walk 500km to reach their final destination on the Madawaska Maliseet First Nation, bringing only the bare necessities. They are expected to arrive August 23rd or 24th.
