The Refuge Madawaska Shelter hands over pet oxygen masks to the Edmundston Fire Safety Department

EDMUNDSTON, October 29, 2013 – The Refuge Madawaska Shelter Inc. received a donation of three pet oxygen masks and decided to donate them to the chief of the Edmundston Central Fire Station, Mr. Mario L’Italien. This donation, which came following the Fur Safety Campaign of the New Brunswick SPCA, will help to save more lives in the region during fires, accidents or other pet emergencies.  The firefighters will be able to administer proper oxygen to the animals and heighten their chance at survival.
