The Primus Canada employees raise money during the year through their casual days. Each year, these funds are divided into two and given to two charities in the region. This year, the Refuge Madawaska Shelter inc. was selected and has received $ 550. Thanks to the employees of Primus!
We received a $ 500 donation from the employees of the city of Edmundston (the PĂ©pĂ© committee â Employees Exchange Sharing Program). These funds were raised through their casual days, as well as by 50 / 50 draws.
The Refuge Madawaska Shelter inc. is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Madawaska Maliseet First Nation. As some of you know, we made a bet on a building and our pledge has not been accepted. We hit the jackpot instead! The Madawaska Shelter inc. received a very generous donation of a construction trailor. The trailor is currently in St-André and will be moved, free of charge, by J. Bernard and Son. We will place the trailor on a location in the Madawaska Maliseet First Nation for the winter. It will then be moved to its permanent location at the aquaculture site when the ground is ready.
